About Trishia

Pronouns: she/they/siya

Trishia Frulla is a Brooklyn-based and California-raised Pillipinx multidisciplinary artist and designer. Her artwork ranges in medium from digital to illustration to watercolor to textile work, exploring memory, play and the balance between dreams and realities.

Raised in Luiseño Territory and the Kingdom of Hawai’i, she has been fascinated with materials and their relationship to one another for as long as she remembers. As a child, Trishia recalls observing the buildings against the backdrop of tropical trees and watching her mother mend poi balls from recyclable materials around their home.

Trishia holds a Bachelors of Arts in Studio Art with a focus on graphic design from California State University, and a certification in user experience (UX) design from General Assembly. She spent most of her adult life on Tongva Territory and is currently settled on Lenapehoking where she balances intuition and intention as she flows between processes, mind and body.

She has shown her work in California, Canada and New York, and is currently studying Virtual Reality (VR) Narratives and Javascript as she dances toward accessible and sustainable practices for the future.
